Was in the car yesterday, on my way back from gran's house, when I suddenly heard this random song on the radio.

It was quite soothing, and a random question popped into my head after that random song.

" What would life be like without Music ? "

I couldn't imagine what life would be like.
It'd be TERRIBLE.
NO MUSIC ?!

Life would be so terrible lah XD lol
I can't imagine a life with my drums ..
Although I dun play it every friggin' day, I do stare at it every once in awhile and think

:" Man. I'm one heck of a lucky bugger. "

Drums has got to be the " toughest " instrument in a typical band.

If you're a guitarist, all you gotta do is purchase a guitar.

Acoustic / Classical ? - Able to purchase a cheap one at less than $100. Possibly lesser than $50.
Electric ? - If you just get a beginner's set, you could buy one, inclusive of an amp, for less than $200.

If you're a bassist, you could get the stuff pretty cheap too, if I'm not mistaken.

Keyboardist ? - A cheap keyboard can be bought for less than $200.

But drums ??? :D ...

Mine's friggin' $1800.
And that was with a 50% discount.

Now how cheap is that ? XD



But I was able to get one.

Angry neighbours ? - Apart from the first time I started playing my drums, there has been no complaints so far.

Lol. The first complain was pretty cool. I was drumming, in my own world, when suddenly my mum was in the room, tapping my shoulders.

Bloody scared me. Cause when you're really into it, you dun really notice anything, especially if you're drumming, since you practically can't hear anything else.

So I was like :" What ?! " * Was still trying to get over shock *

" Didn't you hear the neighbours complaining ? "

" HUH ! GOT MEH ?! "

" Ya. Just now, a half naked ah pek from the opposite block was shouting OIE OIE OIE and pointing in your general direction "

" ... Oops ..? "

It was then that I decided to stop playing after 7pm, to be considerate to the neighbours.
Since then, no more complaints XD
I've got rockin' neighbours !! WOO !

AND my next-door neighbour ( an auntie btw ) actually said I was pretty good and encouraged me to play louder LOL ! ROCK ON AUNTIE !

That was like, such a great compliment.
An auntie that appreciates drums.
Whoa. Maybe she had a wild past. lol. :O MAYBE SHE WAS A DRUMMER TOO !

Oh well !

But I guess what I'm saying is, a world without music ... omg. It'd be so lifeless. It would never be the world it is today, though it isn't exactly a perfect world. But hey, it ain't such a shitty place too aye ?

We just gotta do our own part to rock the world.
Especially with so many negative and doubtful people.

It's pretty sad to know that there're so many people behaving selfishly because they have the mentality that " If I dun do it, others will "

Just sad, aye.

So yea !

I love my neighbours lol.
